How much water flows in the river behind the school?
How does the water flow out of the spring?
What had an effect on shaping the terrain in the area?
How deep do you have to dig down to get to the water?
The lesson took place in the valley near the town. The group walked over 15 kilometres, the students recognised the geographical features of the area, learnt about rocks and types of soil and, finally, measured the river's depth, its capacity and power. The students also found out that some parts of the valley with its luxurient vegetation looked almost like the Amazon rainforest.
